Red Dead Redemption Looks amazing & coming from rockstar it should be quite an open sandbox style gameplay enviroment.
Here's a couple of nice trailer's ;-)

Hi Clan.Well i got this game today,83$ from BigW.This is an unusual purchase for me,as i dont usually go for these types of games, but i wanted something different. It remains to be seen whether it holds long term interest, but earlier(5 hours)impression are very good, but all NEW games feel good at the start.Multiplayer was interesting in one respect where you where are put into a huge expanse and had to wander around looking for other modes(like FFA).One thing i found cool was you could hear people talking on mics only when they where around you, when they rode off their voice faded away.Okay many things to learn,so hope to see some1 i know online.Brett AKA LikeIce.

That's a pretty good price mate, I have been pretty interested but not sure if I will get it in a while or not.
I think I am a little overdue for a Ebay game shopping bonanza & hoping I can pick this up cheap.

After another 7 hours argggg cant stop playing it,dont know why lol.It has the strangest autoaim youve ever seen, but once you adapt to it and go with it,its really enjoyable.(It might make shooting too easy for some, but not me lol).If yoru a hardcore FPS fan, well you mighnt like this way of shooting, but as i only play the sp atm ,im going with it.I havent done much mp,as i can see thats not really its main focus, which is usually mine, but with this im more interested in SP.(bit like unchartered).
I noticed XNSUMX playing it for about 11 hours straight lol,and hes said he couldnt stop too.
So to finnish,For MP def stick to COD series or BF,but if your looking for a change of pace, scenery and gameplay, this is the the Baby.9.5/10.

Oh wow that's pretty tricky,
I usually love open sandbox styled games like "Gran theft auto" & "Fallout" but I never really get around to playing them much lol, now that I have broken my dominate tie to just the latest COD I might make my way through all my other games that have barely been touched & when There all finished with I will get some more ;-)
I have 37 games but have only finished around 15% of them lol, there is a couple of games I haven't even played more than hour eeeeeeeeek.

I played Red Dead a fair bit over the weekend both online and single player. It's one of the better games to be released for a while and i'd say if you like Grand Theft Auto, your most probably gonna like this.
The graphics are awesome, the gameplay makes you wanna keep going to see what happens next and i found the shooting to work really well.
I've been doing a few of the challenges like sharp shooter (Rank 3), Survivalist (Rank 4) and Master Hunter (Rank 3).
I also just unlocked a few new outfits: The Bollard Twins Gang, the Elegant Suit (so i can cheat at poker and dice) and the Duster coat.
The game seems really massive and i've only scratched the surface, can't wait to get into it a bit more.
I've also ranked up my online player to about level 14. Did some of the challenges online and took out a few gang hideouts in free roam.

OK, just an update, not that anyone probably cares. I just finished Red Dead yesterday and can say it's probably one of my all time favorite games. Kept me entertained from start to finish and i have had trouble putting it down for the last week or so. I've got a couple of small things to tidy up to get 100% but should have that done today.
If you haven't linked your PS3 with the Rockstar social club, you should sign up. They have weekly challenges to complete, you get a couple of cheats for linking your PS3 and it tracks your stats for the 100% completion, letting you know what you still need to do. Go here to sign up:

Yeah this sounds wicked I think I will be adding this to my next buy thanks for the review. I had a hoot on Bound in Blood and this looked more in depth on game play and storyline I finished Bound in Blood on both carracters in only a couple of sessions, with the MP Red Dead should be better value for money.
(how long is it before there is to many large good MP games around that there are not enough players to make it them all work )
